Android v1.6 ROMs available for developers phones

Owners of the developers version of the G1 (the ADP1) and Magic (the Google I/O version) can now update to Android V1.6. The binary packages are now officially available at the HTC site sitting next to the V1.5 versions. To download the image look here.

Android 1.5 SDK is out

Pictures from HTC G2 and Magic

A chinese site shows the pictures of the HTC Magic next to its brother, the Dopuda G2 (HTC’s daughter company in mainland china). The G2 is supposed to be sold by T-Mobile in the near fuure while the Magic is in the pipeline of its competitor Vodafone to be in the shelves end of April.

HTC Magic build running on G1

Vodafone joins Android crowd

At MWC Vodafone Germany announced to sell the HTC Magic running Android starting in April. The Magic comes with touchscreen only – there is no keyboard. Users will be able to use the virtual keyboard coming from the cupcake release instead.
